The American Red Cross office at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is part of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society located in Building 241. The normal hours of operation are Thursday 0900-1300 or upon request. The American Red Cross office offers support for military families by providing food, clothing and financial assistance. The American Red Cross also offers disaster relief to natural disaster victims worldwide. The mission of the Great Bay Chapter of the American Red Cross is to help protect the safety and welfare of the people of the 39 New Hampshire and Maine communities we serve by providing emergency food, clothing, and shelter to those affected by disaster, and by offering lifesaving training courses such as First Aid and CPR. Our volunteers are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to help those in need.
